Wasn't Me by Emmanuel of SeeingGrowth.comPatience and acceptance are two virtues that I have been practicing on a regular basis. I have not perfected these traits, but I am getting much better at both of them. Becoming more patient and accepting the fact that it is not possible for me to conquer the world in one day are two reasons that I take necessary breaks and do periodic maintenance checks. There is one problem with not being perfect at accepting things that I cannot control and with being patient at all times. This problem is a person, and this person’s name is Wasn’t Me. This Wasn’t me person is very annoying and I seem to run into him on a regular basis. I see him at home, at work, in the streets, on the television, and he even has several stories in the newspaper. I can not understand the concept of his being and I really think that I might dislike him to a point that is close to hate.
Wasn’t me breaks things, makes mistakes, and causes problems. Wasn’t also lives rent free, is not held accountable for anything, and has no responsibilities. I think that I might actually be a little jealous of Wasn’t Me, because I believe that we should all admit and live up to our shortcomings even when there are negative consequences behind them. We are not perfect beings and it is the times that our imperfections are present that we should accept them as part of being human.
I would like to start a campaign to permanently bar Wasn’t Me from our homes, workplaces, churches, media, and every other place that he is present.
