Daily Prayer from the book "Every Day Light - Treasure for the Heart"

This group is so that we can grow together as one. I know that many of us serve different Gods (Higher Powers) and that is great. I am not trying to sway you away from that in any way. I feel that if your faith in your God is strong as you say it is, you should be able listen to any message and still get what you need from it.

In saying that I wanted to invite all of you to join me on my journey for the next 300 plus days. I will be reading the book "Every Day Light - Treasure for the Heart" and as I read and grow I will add the "Daily Prayer" here so that all of us can grow. For those that want to take it a step further I have placed the book below for you to purchase. I will be adding discussions also, so stay tuned for one of the biggest transformations on mind you have ever seen.

Let's get it!! Will you join me? Don't be shy to join in the discussions Ok. Remember we are not here to see whose God (Higher Power) is better than the other, we are here to grow as one!

Daily Prayer - www.wix.com/MrProsperity/DP

I truly believe that all of our Gods that we worship (our higher powers) are chilling together looking down on us, waiting for us to finally get it right and come together as one to change the "WORLD"!

This so called recession is our Gods way of giving us a reality check. We need to wake up people........... something just is not right!! I say lets come together as one and figure this thing out!

Today's Inspiration

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.

Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.

He could live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

What about the Christmas gift He sent you in Bethlehem;
not to mention that Friday at Calvary.

Face it, He's crazy about you.

Send this to the people you're crazy about.

Pass this on and brighten someone's day, and remember:

God answers Knee-Mail!

Amen Tina!

James 3:17,
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Pure : The pure heart, so precious to Jesus, is free from any form of stain or defilement; it has been cleansed, renewed and conformed to the heart of God. Its mind, will and emotions are in full harmony with Jesus, its King.

Peaceable: Is a condition of freedom from disturbance, whether outwardly, as of a nation from war or enemies, or inwardly, within the soul. The Hebrew word is shalom (both adjective and substantive), meaning, primarily, "soundness," "health," but coming also to signify "prosperity," well-being in general, all good in relation to both man and God.

Gentle: 2 Cor 10:1 translated "gentleness," {To display } "the meekness and gentleness of Christ", with everyone.

Yielding: Being, compliant, submissive, or flexible, to yield to the Spirit's leading.

Mercy: Mercy is the act of not administering justice when that justice is punitive. Because of our sinfulness we deserve death and eternal separation from God (Rom. 6:23; Isaiah 59:2), but God provided an atonement for sin and through it shows us mercy.

Good Fruits: Figuratively, human conduct is thought of as the fruit of a tree, either sound or rotten (Matt. 7: 16–20), and Paul asks his converts what fruit (Rom. 6: 21, AV; ‘advantage’, NRSV; ‘gain’, REB, NJB) they had in past deeds of which they are now ashamed. The fruit they should produce is that which comes from the Spirit (Gal. 5: 22).

W/O Partiality: Not showing unfair bias in favor of one thing or person compared with another; no favoritism.

W/O Hypocrisy: Without a sense of unfairness, never pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have.

Here is a scripture that came to me just when I needed it and I thought that I would share because someone else may need it also.

Galations 6:9
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
